The farm has been in the Schillinger family for over 100 years and is 5 generations strong. Started out as a tobacco and vegetable truck farm but as times changed so did the farm. Now the farm consist of greenhouse operation in the spring with flowers and all sorts of veggie plants for the home gardener. Then come summertime its a full blown vegetable stand with all the fresh local grown veggies that are grown right on our vary farms in Severn, Millersville, and Centreville, Maryland. Finally in October we open up our pumpkin patch which includes hayrides on the weekends where you get to pick your own pumpkin right out of the field. But if you cant make it out on Saturday or Sunday we have have plenty of pumpkins to choose from right at the red barn. And also don't forget about all the farm animals that we borrow from all our farmer friends just for the month of October. So come out and see us to get your local fresh produce, because you simply can't beat fresh local veggies.
